Why this commercial sink earns its place
This is a working sink designed around the fold-down principle: when you need it, it's ready for prep, washing, and rinsing; when you don't, the structure folds to reclaim workspace. At 1800 mm wide and 600 mm deep with a height of 910 mm, it's scaled for proper wash-up duty, not a cupboard-sized afterthought. The two compartments (marked as "2R"—two right-side) give you separate zones: one for washing, one for rinsing, or one for produce and one for equipment.
The bowl is crafted from stainless steel 304, 1.0 mm thick—the spec choice for food-contact surfaces that take daily washing and acidic produce. The frame is square-section stainless 201 at 1.2 mm, chosen for its strength and corrosion resistance in damp kitchen environments. This combination means the sink doesn't corrode, flex excessively, or degrade under chlorine-based sanitisers or vinegar washes.
The fold-down design is the kicker for kitchens with tight floor space: a secondary prep room, a catering van, or a commercial kitchen where you want prep area flexibility. Unlike a fixed sink that anchors your layout, this one lets you adapt. The structure is hefty enough to handle steady use, and the materials are proven in commercial food production.
