The Origin Base is a clean, minimal high stool built for venues that need seating to work as hard outdoors as it does in. Moulded from polypropylene and finished in a soft pastel blue, it brings a splash of colour to dining rooms, courtyards and terraces without relying on paint or fabric that will fade or wear.
Origin builds the Base from over 50% post-industrial recycled plastic, which gives the stool genuine durability rather than a sustainability claim tacked on afterwards — the material is chosen for how it holds up under daily commercial use as much as for its lower environmental footprint. At 3kg it's light enough for front-of-house staff to move, carry and reset between sittings without any strain, and the smooth polypropylene shell shrugs off spills and rain alike.
Because it's rated for both indoors and outdoors, the Base stool moves freely between a beer garden and the bar inside it, or between a café's pavement seating and its dining room — one stool used everywhere, rather than separate indoor and outdoor ranges to manage.
