Why this high bar stool earns its place
The Origin Base stool in pastel blue gives a lighter, more playful finish to the same minimalist design — a good fit for venues that want their seating to add a bit of colour rather than disappear into the background. Like the rest of the Base range it's sold as a pack of two, built for furnishing in volume.
The shell is moulded from polypropylene, with more than half of it post-industrial recycled plastic, so the finish is durable rather than decorative. Each stool stands 750mm tall on a 440 x 440mm footprint — proper bar height — and weighs only 3.2kg, light enough to shift between an indoor bar and an outdoor table without needing two people to lift it.
It's rated for both indoor and outdoor use, which means the pastel blue colourway can do double duty across a café's inside seating and its pavement tables. Vertical stacking keeps a run of stools compact overnight or when the floor needs clearing for cleaning.
