Why this high bar stool earns its place
The Hanoi bar chair takes the same weathered oak finish as the rest of the range and puts it on a frame built for bar height rather than the dining table — 1175mm tall, with a 410mm width and 440mm depth that gives it a solid, planted footprint rather than a perch. The rubber wood frame is the same durable stock Hanoi use across the range, chosen because it's dense and stable enough to handle the daily wear of a busy bar rather than because it's decorative.
Where this chair differs is the seatpad: a bison espresso vinyl rather than a fabric weave, a deep brown tone that sits naturally against the weathered oak finish and suits a bar area going for a warmer, moodier look than a dining room. It's the same "weathered oak plus a considered upholstery" formula as the rest of the Hanoi range, just built taller and finished darker for where the room asks for it.
At 10kg it has enough weight to feel properly seated at a bar or high table rather than tippy, and like the rest of the range it arrives fully assembled — straight off the pallet and onto the floor, with no build time eaten into a fit-out schedule.
