The rubber wood frame is the same durable stock Hanoi use across the range, chosen because it's dense and stable enough to handle the daily wear of a busy bar rather than because it's decorative.
Where this chair differs is the seatpad: a bison espresso vinyl rather than a fabric weave, a deep brown tone that sits naturally against the weathered oak finish and suits a bar area going for a warmer, moodier look than a dining room. It's the same "weathered oak plus a considered upholstery" formula as the rest of the Hanoi range, just built taller and finished darker for where the room asks for it.
