Why this low bar stool earns its place
The Everyday Wessex low stools offer flexibility for venues that need varied seating heights or standing-service areas. Fully assembled from solid rubber wood with a subtle weathered oak finish, each stool features a deeply padded seat in hard-wearing bison espresso vinyl. The low height makes them suited to counter work, casual standing bars, or as part of a mixed-height seating arrangement that suits different space dynamics.
Built for real hospitality use, these stools feature the same heavy-duty mortice and tenon joinery found throughout the Wessex range. The joints stay tight season after season, and the rubber wood frame resists the dents and pressure of everyday handling. At 475 mm high (compared to the 760 mm high stool), they're shorter enough to suit kitchen counters, casual bar seating, or relaxed lounge areas without feeling cramped or cheap.
The 335 mm deep round seat is deeply padded for comfort, and the espresso vinyl is one of the most practical colours for commercial seating—spills and marks are nearly invisible. Fire safety is built in; these stools conform to CRIB 5 fire-retardant standards. Supplied in packs of two, they weigh just 8 kg each and are easy to reposition during service or floor resets.
