Why this sidechair earns its place
The Duke side chair takes an Eames-inspired silhouette and builds it on a metal frame, powder coated in black for a modern, durable finish. Against that black frame sits a vintage teal faux-leather seat pad and matching back pad — a deliberate hit of colour that keeps the chair from disappearing into a neutral room.
The seat and back pad are there for comfort as much as looks, giving the chair the padded support a full sitting needs, while the powder-coated frame is built to take daily indoor dining use without the finish wearing through.
They're sold as a matched two-pack, so a run of seating looks consistent from the first delivery rather than being built up chair by chair. Each chair measures 820mm high, 430mm wide and 490mm deep, and the pair has a gross weight of 8kg. They're for indoor use only, and backed by a 1-year warranty.
