Why this dining chair earns its place
Chelsea is a design chair, not a commodity. Clean lines and smooth curves—the kind of detailing you see in Scandinavian furniture—give it a visual lightness that works in both retro and contemporary spaces without shouting about either. Built from solid rubberwood with a weathered oak finish, it has weight and presence without looking heavy, and the colour reads neutral enough to pair with almost any table or interior scheme.
The upholstery is textured Shetland Sea vinyl—a soft blue-grey that feels intentional without being demanding. It's properly padded underneath, so these aren't thin shell chairs; there's real comfort during service. The fabric upholstery is easy-to-clean, which means between-service maintenance is straightforward, and the colour hides dust and marks better than pale alternatives. The whole frame is solid wood, no shortcuts.
At 450 mm wide, they tuck neatly under a dining table, freeing up floor space for movement and cleaning. The 850 mm height is standard, and at 4.8 kg per chair, they're light enough that moving six chairs during setup or reset is manageable. Supplied in a pack of six, each chair meets CRIB 5 fire-retardant standards, confirming they're safe for hospitality venues. The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects.
