Why this high bar stool earns its place
The Brooklyn is Bolero's take on the industrial-style high stool, and the Mocha colourway gives it a warmer, less clinical edge than the usual black-on-black bar stool. A durable PU leather-style seat in that contemporary mocha tone sits on a black powder-coated metal frame, and the two together read as considered rather than default bar furniture — the kind of stool that looks deliberately chosen rather than just filled a gap at the counter.
It's built to be used, not just looked at. A gas lift mechanism gives easy height adjustment, so the same stool can be set to suit different counters or tables rather than needing a fixed-height match. The padded PU seat offers proper support for longer sits, and intricate stitching around the seat is the kind of detail that separates a considered piece from a bargain-bin stool. At 795mm tall and 367mm across, and weighing 4.5kg, it's light enough to reposition around a bar area without a second pair of hands.
Standards matter as much as looks in a working bar, and the Brooklyn conforms to EN16139 level 1 for the safety, strength and durability of non-domestic seating, plus BS7176 for resistance to ignition of upholstered furniture — the certifications a commercial venue needs on file. The PU seat is also easy to clean thanks to its wipeable surface, which counts for a lot behind a bar. It's rated for indoor use only.
