The slatted back gives it a bold, considered silhouette, while the seat pad — upholstered in faux leather that replicates the look and feel of genuine leather — is fully CRIB5 fire-retardant to contract grade, which is the standard that lets it into high-traffic commercial spaces in the first place.
Underneath the upholstery is a solid wood frame, built from hardwood selected for strength as much as looks. That's what "contract use" actually means in practice: a frame engineered to take the daily wear of a dining room or bar rather than an occasional dining chair at home, without losing the elegance the wood grain brings to the finished piece.
