Why this sidechair earns its place
The Vicky is the side chair from the Bolero Bespoke range, and this blue and walnut colourway gives it a bolder, more contemporary look while keeping the same contract-grade build underneath. Its slatted back is the chair's signature detail – a clean design touch that lifts a room without being fussy.
The frame is solid wood, built from hardwood chosen for strength as much as looks. That's what separates it from a domestic dining chair: the Vicky is built to be pulled out, sat in and pushed back under a table shift after shift, in restaurants, hotels and offices, without the joints working loose.
The seat pad is upholstered in a high-quality faux leather that replicates the look and feel of genuine leather while being far easier to maintain – a wipe-down generally does the job. It's also fully CRIB5 fire-retardant to contract grade, the standard expected of upholstered seating in busy public venues.
