Why this sidechair earns its place
The Frank is the retro-leaning side chair in Bolero's Bespoke range, and this cream-and-charcoal finish is the lighter of its colourways — a curved back and cream seat pad set against a charcoal-inspired frame, giving it a brighter, more versatile presence than a darker finish would. The curve in the back does real work here: it softens the profile while the frame underneath stays every bit as solid as contract seating needs to be. At 850mm high on a 430 × 500mm footprint and 6kg in weight, it's light enough for staff to reposition quickly during service without strain.
The frame is hardwood, selected deliberately for strength as well as looks, and built to handle demanding commercial use — chairs pulled out and pushed back repeatedly, stacked between services, sat in for hours at a stretch, without the joints loosening over time.
The seat pad is padded faux leather in cream, chosen to replicate the feel of genuine leather while being far easier to keep on top of. It wipes down quickly between covers, and it's fully CRIB5 fire-retardant to contract grade — the compliance standard a venue's upholstered seating actually needs to meet.
