The Brenda is the fabric-and-timber end of the Bolero Bespoke range, and it's built to feel like it rather than just look like it. The wooden back has a curved, modern profile rather than the straight ladder-back you'd expect from a traditional side chair, and it's paired with a seat pad upholstered in faux leather that mimics the depth and finish of the real thing without the maintenance a genuine hide demands.
Underneath that finish is a solid wood frame, selected and built for contract use rather than domestic — the sort of construction that's expected to take a full service, night after night, in a restaurant or hotel dining room rather than an occasional Sunday lunch at home. The faux leather seat pad is easy to wipe down between covers, and it's CRIB5 fire-retardant to contract grade, which is the fire-safety standard that matters for seating in high-traffic commercial spaces.
It's rated for indoor use, at 820mm high, 460mm wide and 530mm long, with a gross weight of 6kg — solid enough to feel planted at a table, without being awkward to reposition for a private function or a changed floor plan.
