Why this sidechair earns its place
Olive and oak is one of the warmer finishes in the Bia A range — a muted green seat and back set against oak-toned wood, giving a dining room a natural, grounded feel without straying from the chair's classic, contract-friendly silhouette. It's the kind of colourway that works well against wood-heavy interiors or planting-led venue design, while still sitting comfortably next to more traditional furniture.
The finish sits on a genuinely commercial build. The frame is solid hardwood, chosen and constructed for contract-grade loads rather than adapted from domestic furniture, so it's engineered to handle the wear of daily service. The seat and back pad are upholstered in a high-quality faux leather that replicates the look and feel of genuine leather, is easy to wipe down, and is fully CRIB5 fire-retardant to contract grade — the standard needed for a chair going into a public dining space.
It measures 900mm high, 460mm wide and 530mm deep, and weighs 6kg, light enough for staff to move and reset quickly between covers, while the hardwood frame itself stays solid under regular use. It's built for indoor use only, in line with its role as dining and lounge seating.
