Why this sidechair earns its place
The Bamba side chair takes the same curved-back shape that runs through the Bespoke range and gives it a more contemporary finish: an olive seat pad against an oak-inspired hardwood frame, a combination with a modern, natural feel rather than a retro one. It's a chair that sits well in a room built around wood tones and greenery, or anywhere a venue wants seating that looks considered rather than off-the-shelf.
That look sits on a frame built for commercial life. The hardwood is chosen for strength as well as appearance, so the chair is built to take the daily reset of a working venue — drag-out, sit, stack away — without loosening up after a few busy months. The seat pad is a padded faux leather that replicates the look and feel of genuine leather, finished to CRIB5 fire-retardant contract grade, and easy to wipe clean and keep presentable through back-to-back covers.
At 850mm tall, 430mm wide and 500mm deep, and weighing 6.8kg, it has a bit more heft in hand than the lightest chairs in the range while still being manageable for one person to reposition or clear for cleaning. It's built for indoor use only, and made to order in the Olive/Oak finish shown, so it's worth confirming the finish and quantity before the order's placed.
