Why this dining chair earns its place
The bentwood shape is a dining-room classic for good reason — light to move, comfortable without padding, and instantly at home in a room built around timber and texture. GG656 takes that curved wood frame and adds a metal cross brace across the backrest for a bit of structural character, then finishes it in a pale natural tone with a woven rattan seat pad in place of a flat wood panel — a small detail that gives the seat some give and visual texture rather than a hard, uniform surface.
Frame is solid wood throughout, seat is rattan, and the whole chair is finished in that natural colourway rather than a stained or dark wood tone. Each chair stands 460mm wide, 540mm deep and 880mm tall, and packs down to 990 × 510 × 660mm for delivery — useful to know if you're planning storage for a bulk order.
It ships fully assembled, so there's no build time between delivery and putting chairs out on the floor — just unpack and place. Sold as a pack of two with a gross shipping weight of 4kg, it's built for indoor use only.
