Why this standard height table base earns its place
Rectangular tops need a base with span, not just a centre column, and that's what the ST22 is built for — a double flip-top base, 720mm tall and 829mm wide, in grey aluminium, weighing 7kg gross. It's lightweight enough for one person to fold, lift and reposition, but wide enough to properly support a long table without flex at the ends.
The mechanism is the same PAD (Patented Actuator Device) technology across the FLAT Auto-Adjust range: self-stabilising hydraulics that even out rough or uneven floors automatically, and re-stabilise every time the base is moved. That matters more on a double base than a single — it's carrying more table, so a wobble at one end is more noticeable, and PAD deals with it without wedges or manual levelling.
An EP (Extra Protection) coating covers the frame, which is what puts this base fairly on outdoor and coastal terraces as well as indoor floors — it's built to take the weather, not just the wear. When service ends, the flip-top mechanism lets the whole table fold flat, so a double-length table stores and stacks in a fraction of the space it takes up when it's set for covers.
