Why this table top earns its place
The HS673 is a 790x790mm square tabletop from Everyday's Extrema range, built in 12mm laminate and finished in a grey marble colourway that reads as stone without the weight, cost or porosity of the real thing. At 10.85kg gross it's a substantial top for its size — enough presence for a large four-top without being awkward for one person to lift into place — and it uses the Extrema range's EASYFIX fitting system to mount straight onto a compatible base.
The point of Extrema is durability disguised as good looks. The laminate is stain resistant, UV resistant and heat resistant, and holds up to abrasions and impacts far better than a standard laminate finish — which matters on a marble-effect top specifically, because any scuffing or fading would show up fast against that pale, veined surface. In real service that's hot plates straight off the pass, spilled wine, cutlery drag and the daily wipe-down, none of which is meant to touch it.
That resistance is also what earns it an indoor and outdoor rating. A genuine marble slab would stain, crack in the cold and need sealing; this top gets the look without any of that maintenance, and without the UV fading or heat damage that would otherwise rule a pale finish out for a sun-facing terrace. It's low maintenance by design, which is the whole appeal of a laminate-faced top over stone.
