Why this table top earns its place
The HS658 is a 600x600mm square tabletop from Everyday's Extrema range, made in 12mm laminate and finished in a textured grey cement effect — the industrial-chic look without an actual concrete slab's weight, at a manageable 6.26kg gross. It fits onto a compatible base through the Extrema range's EASYFIX system, and its compact 600mm footprint makes it a natural fit for two-tops and smaller café covers where floor space is tight.
The textured cement finish is asked to do the same job any Extrema top does: it's stain resistant, UV resistant and heat resistant, and holds up to abrasions and impacts well beyond a standard laminate top. On a smaller two-top that turns over constantly — trays going down and coming up, cups and plates sliding across, the daily wipe-down between covers — that resilience is what keeps the surface looking right after months of use rather than months of wear.
That same build is what lets it move outdoors as easily as indoors. UV and heat resistance means the finish doesn't fade or lift in direct sun, so a 600mm cement-effect top can just as easily sit outside a café door as inside on the restaurant floor — useful for sites that want a consistent look across an indoor room and a small outdoor seating area without stocking two different tops.
