Why this table earns its place
There's a look that country kitchen cafés and smart bistros both reach for — solid wood, proper turned legs, nothing that feels flat-packed — and the Cotswold-Style Rectangular Dining Table is built to that brief. The top is solid wood, a full 40mm thick, finished in Soft Oak and sized at 1200 × 700mm, sat on beautifully turned legs rather than plain straight ones.
It's rubber wood throughout, and it carries a gross weight of 30kg — noticeably heavier than a veneered equivalent, which is exactly what you'd expect from a genuinely solid 40mm top rather than a thin skin over board. Standing 740mm tall, it's standard dining height, so it drops straight into a normal seating plan.
The 1200 × 700mm top is sized for a table of four, and the turned-leg detailing gives it a more traditional, considered look than a plain-legged café table — the kind of piece that reads as a proper dining table rather than functional filler. It suits venues building a room around character rather than just covers.
