Why this table earns its place
A café table that has to earn its keep both indoors and out doesn't get much of a second chance if the frame corrodes or the top splits after a wet weekend. The GL982 answers that with a straightforward pairing: an aluminium frame that won't rust, carrying a genuine ash-wood top that brings warmth and grain to what's otherwise a very hard-working design. Bolero's own description keeps it simple too — stylish, modern, lightweight, rust and weather resistant — and that's exactly the brief this table is built to.
At 700mm wide by 540mm deep, it's sized for a four-top without eating the floor space of a full dining table, and Bolero rate it to seat four — tight for a sit-down meal for four, comfortable for coffees, small plates or a couple with room to spread paperwork or a laptop. Height runs to 880mm, noticeably taller than a standard 750mm dining table, so it reads more like a poseur or standing-height piece: useful on terraces, at standing bar areas, or anywhere you want tables that hold their own next to taller stools and standing guests.
Gross weight is 8.7kg, light enough for staff to reposition for cleaning, weather or a change in cover count without needing a trolley. It arrives as self-assembly, and the aluminium-and-ash build is rated for indoors and outdoors alike — bring it in overnight, leave it out through service, or move it between the two as conditions demand.
