Why this table top earns its place
The GR330 is a square 700 × 700mm tabletop in a rustic oak finish, 48mm thick and weighing 10.8kg. The manufacturer describes it as a lineal design suited to hotels, restaurants and cafes — a straightforward, honest-looking top rather than anything fussy, with the rustic oak colourway (heat-sealed decor over the surface) giving it the warmth of real timber.
What matters more than the look is what's underneath it. The construction is high density woodchip with a heat sealed decor finish — described by the manufacturer as a honeycomb core with a resin coated melamine top that protects against scratches and high temperatures up to 180°C. That's a real consideration in food service, where hot plates, pans and trays land on tables constantly; a surface rated to 180°C is built with exactly that in mind, not just spills and wipe-downs.
It arrives pre-drilled, ready to fix to a compatible table base, and goes together as a self-assembly job — no specialist tools needed, just bolting the top to a base. At 10.8kg it's light enough for one person to handle and fit without difficulty.
