Why this table top earns its place
This is Bolero's 600 × 600mm square tabletop in Rustic Oak, a lineal woodgrain design built for hotels, restaurants and cafes rather than the home market. At 48mm thick and 8kg, it has real substance to it — this isn't a thin laminate board, it's a genuine honeycomb-core panel.
That honeycomb core sits under a resin-coated melamine top, and the combination is what earns this top its keep in a busy dining room: it's protected against scratches from cutlery and trays, and rated to withstand temperatures up to 180°C, so a hot plate straight from the pass or a forgotten teapot won't mark it the way a standard laminate top would. The Rustic Oak finish gives it a warm, woodgrain look without any of the upkeep a real timber top demands.
It's supplied pre-drilled and self-assembly, ready to fit onto the square base of your choice, and at 8kg it's easy for one person to lift and fit without help. This is an indoor top — it's specified for indoor use, so it belongs in the dining room or breakfast room rather than on an exposed terrace.
