Why this table top earns its place
The GR331 is a lineal-design tabletop from Bolero, finished in Antique Natural — a warm, woodgrain-effect beige colourway aimed squarely at hotels, restaurants and cafés looking for a natural wood look without the upkeep of solid timber. It's a pre-drilled square top, ready to mount onto the table base of your choice.
Underneath the finish, the top is built around a honeycomb core with a resin-coated melamine surface layer. That top layer is what does the daily work: Bolero rate it to resist scratches and high temperatures up to 180°C, which covers the kind of accidental heat a busy dining room throws at a table — hot plates, pans straight off the pass, warming dishes. At 700 x 700mm and 48mm thick, it weighs 10.8kg, giving it a solid, stable feel once it's fixed to a base.
It's specified for indoor use, which suits a dining room, function space or hotel restaurant rather than an exposed terrace. The melamine surface is straightforward to wipe clean between covers, and because it resists scratching as well as heat, it keeps its finish through the kind of repeated daily use a hospitality table gets rather than showing wear after a season.
