Why this table top earns its place
This is a table top on its own — 700mm square, 30mm thick, pre-drilled and ready to fix straight onto whatever base you're running, no on-site drilling required. The core is high density woodchip, finished with a heat-sealed decor layer in Wenge Grain: a rich, dark brown woodgrain that reads as timber from across the room without any of the upkeep timber demands.
Because the finish is heat-sealed rather than applied, the surface is genuinely seamless — no joints or edge strips for spilled coffee, sauce or grease to work into, which makes wiping down between covers quick and keeps the top looking presentable service after service. Bolero build these as hardwearing pieces for busy indoor floors, not showpieces for a boutique lobby, and it shows in how little fuss the top needs day to day.
At 7kg gross, one person can lift it onto a base or swap it between frames without help, and the 30mm thickness gives it real presence on the table rather than the flex and clatter of a thinner top. It's rated for indoor use only, so it belongs on a café or restaurant floor rather than a terrace — pair it with an indoor-appropriate base and it'll sit at the centre of the room for years.
