Why this table top earns its place
This is a Bolero table top designed to look the part in cafés, restaurants, and hospitality venues where a marble aesthetic works — but without the weight, cost, or maintenance headache of actual stone. The 600mm square footprint is compact and flexible: works as a standalone small table, or as part of a mix-and-match table set where you're varying sizes across the floor.
The construction is high-density woodchip with heat-sealed melamine facing, which means it can actually handle the real working life of a café or restaurant. Spills don't soak in; the surface resists scratches from service; and the resin coating protects against heat up to 180°C, so a hot coffee cup or a plate straight off the pass won't leave a mark. At just 8 kg, it's light enough to reposition or store without needing equipment, and the pre-drilled holes mean fitting it to a pedestal base is straightforward.
The marble-effect finish is applied as a heat-sealed decor layer, so it's consistent and won't fade or wear through unevenly. It reads as a clean, upmarket look on the floor without the fussiness of trying to match stone texture. At 48mm thick, the top has enough substance to feel solid underfoot and won't wobble on a good base.
