Why this table earns its place
This is the table that moves. Bolero's HDPE square foldaway seats four and folds flat to 65mm — thinner than a sheet of plywood — so you can store 30 of them in a walk-in cupboard without thinking twice. It arrives fully assembled, no bolts to fiddle with, no flat-packing fuss. You take it out, open it, and it locks solid. White HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is tough, easy care, and doesn't splinter or rot like wood or rust like bare steel.
At 860mm square with a 740mm height, it's standard café table proportions — four place settings around it, or two with elbows. The metal frame is powder-coated steel, so no rust if you leave it in a rain, and the HDPE top won't absorb water or stain. Spill red wine on it; wipe it off. Outdoor rain; no swelling. Deep-clean with a hose; it's fine. The 12kg weight is light enough that one person sets up banqueting for 100 without wearing out.
The folding design uses simple lever locks that take seconds to flip — training staff on opening and closing is a five-minute chat. Unlike cheap folding tables with wobbly hinges, Bolero's mechanism is stiff enough to stand solid even with weight distributed unevenly. It won't collapse mid-service if a diner leans in.
