Why this table earns its place
The Bolero HW850 is a complete table, top and base included, built for the daily churn of hospitality rather than the odd Sunday lunch. The 700mm square top sits at 750mm high, in a dark wood effect melamine finish that gives you the warmth of timber without the upkeep timber demands. At 16kg it's substantial enough to feel planted on a busy floor, light enough that front-of-house staff can reposition it for a bigger party without a struggle.
That solidity is by design. The base is heavy and powder-coated specifically to resist tipping, and it's built to shrug off the knocks and scrapes that come with real service rather than showroom use. The tabletop does its own share of the work: 25mm thick, finished with a scratch-resistant coating and a PVC edge, so it takes plates, cutlery and the odd dragged tray without marking up after a fortnight. It'll also take heat straight off the pass — the top is rated to withstand temperatures of up to 180°C, so a hot plate set down mid-service isn't a problem.
It arrives as an all-in-one set rather than a box of separate components to match up, which matters when you're fitting out a room against a deadline. Self-assembly is quick, and there's no guesswork over whether the base you've ordered will suit the top. It's designed for indoor use, so it belongs in the dining room rather than on the terrace.
