Why this table earns its place
This is a table built around the base as much as the top. Bolero's finished it with a heavy, powder-coated base specifically to resist tipping — the failure point that wears out cheaper café tables first, especially once a room's full and chairs are being pulled in and out all evening. That base carries a 600mm round top in a dark wood-effect finish, the sort of neutral, warm tone that sits comfortably in most dining rooms without fighting the rest of the decor.
The top itself is doing real work too. At 25mm thick, it's finished with a scratch-resistant coating and a PVC edge, so it shrugs off the daily scuffs of cutlery, trays and being wiped down between covers. It'll also take heat up to 180°C, which matters more than it sounds — hot plates straight from the pass won't mark or warp a top rated like this, where a standard laminate table would.
It's rated for indoor use, standing 750mm high on a 600mm diameter top, with a gross weight of 11kg. It arrives as a complete, all-in-one set rather than a box of separate parts, and it's self-assembly — quick to put together and get into service rather than a job that needs a tradesperson.
