Why this product earns its place
This is a table base, not a complete table — a cast iron pedestal, finished in grey, built to carry a tabletop of your own choosing. It stands 720mm to the standard café and restaurant table height, with a 611mm-diameter foot that gives a full-size top plenty of support without a bulky footprint underneath.
Cast iron is the point here. It's heavy, it doesn't flex, and it shrugs off the knocks a busy front-of-house base takes every service. Bolero rate it for indoors and outdoors alike, so the same base does duty on a covered terrace in summer and back in the dining room come winter — no need to buy separate stock for inside and out.
The grey finish is deliberately unfussy — it sits behind whatever tabletop you pair it with rather than competing with it, and it hides scuffs better than a lighter colour over years of service. At 11.3kg it's substantial enough to keep a table steady under real use, but two people can still shift it when you're rearranging a floor or moving stock between sites.
