Why this bullet bin earns its place
A front-of-house bin gets seen and used more than almost anything else in a café — customers scraping plates past it, staff emptying it mid-rush — so it has to look right and hold up to real traffic at the same time. The Bolero Bullet Bin is built for exactly that spot.
It's stainless steel, but not a single uniform grade throughout: the lid is 201-grade stainless and the body 410-grade, a construction choice that gives the lid — the part customers actually touch and knock — a finish suited to that contact, while the body carries the load. The matt finish reads as considered rather than purely functional, which matters when it's standing in the same space as your counter and seating, not tucked away in the kitchen. At 360mm diameter and 640mm tall, it holds 40 litres — enough capacity to get through a busy service without constant emptying, in a round footprint that doesn't create a corner for mess to collect around.
The open top lid keeps it simple for customers: no swing flap to hesitate over, no lid to get greasy fingerprints on, just a clear opening that makes disposal obvious. And a polypropylene ring around the base does two jobs at once — it protects your floor finish from scuffing where the bin sits, and it improves the bin's stability so it doesn't rock or slide when someone's using it. Gross weight is a light 4.05kg, so repositioning it during a reset or a deep clean is a one-handed job.
