Why this product earns its place
This is a Bolero table top on its own — square, 700mm each way, 30mm thick, finished in a dark grey that reads as neutral rather than trend-led. The whole thing, frame included, is aluminium, and it's rated for indoors and outdoors, so it's one surface you can put down on a terrace on a warm afternoon and bring straight through to a dining room that evening without a changeover.
That choice of aluminium is doing real work. Left outside through a British summer and winter, steel corrodes and timber weathers unevenly; aluminium doesn't rust, so a top that lives on a pavement table keeps its dark grey finish rather than fading, flaking or streaking after a season of rain. The aluminium frame around the edge keeps the 30mm top flat and rigid under the daily knocks of plates, trays and elbows.
At 4.77kg it's genuinely light. One person can lift it onto a base, carry it in from a terrace at closing, or reposition it to open up floor space for a function — no trolley, no second pair of hands. The 700 x 700mm footprint is a generous, honest square: enough surface for a proper place setting or two without eating into the room the way a larger top would.
