Why this table top earns its place
This is a straightforward, no-nonsense tabletop — a 700 x 700mm square in aluminium, finished in black, and built to work equally well inside a restaurant or out on a terrace. Aluminium is the whole point here: it doesn't rust, doesn't need repainting, and stays light enough that staff can rearrange a room or bring tables in from outside without wrestling with the weight a solid wood or stone top would carry.
At just 30mm thick and 4.77kg, it's genuinely easy to handle — light enough for one person to lift onto a base or carry across a room, but with enough substance underfoot that it doesn't feel flimsy once it's set up. The black finish is a practical choice too: it doesn't show every mark the way a pale surface would, which matters on a tabletop that's wiped down constantly through service.
Being rated for indoors and outdoors means it's one less thing to think about when planning a mixed floor plan — the same tabletop works on a covered terrace as it does inside, so there's no need to run two different ranges of furniture for front-of-house and outside seating.
