Why this cabinet heater earns its place
Some spaces just need reliable, no-fuss warmth close at hand — a back room, a storeroom, a marquee, anywhere the main heating doesn't reach. The 505-117 Lifestyle Heatforce is built for exactly that. It's a cabinet-style gas heater with up to 4.2kW of heat output, variable heat settings so you can dial it back for a quiet corner or turn it up for a larger space, and a simple push-button ignition that takes the fuss out of lighting it.
Safety is built in rather than bolted on. A flame guard keeps the burner shielded, and the Heatforce carries an Oxygen Depletion Safety System (ODS), designed to shut the gas supply off automatically if oxygen levels in the room start to drop — the kind of feature that matters when a heater is going to be left running through a shift. The ignition system runs on an AAA battery, which isn't included, so it's worth keeping a spare to hand.
The gas cylinder lives inside the cabinet itself, out of sight and out of the way, rather than sitting exposed next to the unit — tidier for anywhere staff or customers can see it. At 750mm high, 450mm wide and 370mm deep, and weighing 9.1kg, it's compact enough to tuck into a corner, and it sits on castors so it can be wheeled to wherever the cold is biting hardest, then put away just as easily.
