Why this dining chair earns its place
Wood-look furniture and outdoor durability don't usually come in the same chair — one is normally traded off against the other. The Santorini is Bolero's answer: a frame built from powder-coated steel for genuine rust, corrosion and impact resistance, carrying seat and back slats finished to look like natural wood. From a few feet away it reads as a timber chair; up close, it's engineered to survive weather a timber chair wouldn't.
That wood-effect finish isn't just cosmetic. The plywood slats carry a special coating that resists stains, scratches and UV damage, so the "as-new" look is meant to hold up under actual outdoor use rather than fading and marking after one summer on a terrace. Combined with the powder-coated steel legs and frame, that makes the Santorini genuinely suited to both indoor and outdoor settings — the same chair works on a covered terrace, an open beer garden, or inside the dining room.
At 845mm high and 525mm wide, with a 570mm length, it's a standard-footprint side chair rather than an oversized statement piece, and at a gross weight of 5.3kg it's light enough for staff to reposition or restack without ceremony. That matters because the Santorini is designed to stack — when the shift ends or the weather turns, a set packs away into a fraction of the floor space it uses when it's out in service.
