Why this waffle maker earns its place
The GED75 makes round waffles, not rectangles — and that distinction matters in a busy café or breakfast operation. Four 180 mm diameter gridded cast-iron plates (25 mm thick, each grid 10 mm square), heating elements seated beneath both the top and bottom plates for rapid, even heat across the entire cooking surface. Independent control on each side means you can run different batches at different rates, or hold one pair warm while the other pair cooks. That's flexibility without complexity.
Output is impressive: eight great-tasting waffles in two minutes and thirty seconds, scaling to 208 waffles per hour across the machine. That's the throughput you need for a breakfast rush where waffles are a signature item, or for venues where they're on the menu all day. The 4-sided drip tray runs all the way around the cooking plates, so you're protected whether you're working with fresh batter, frozen dough, or whatever's in the walk-in. Thermostat goes up to 300 °C — plenty for a crisp exterior and cooked-through interior.
All controlled from a simple panel with power-on neon and side-by-side temperature adjustment. The cast iron is thick and durable, stainless-steel frame. 230V single-phase plug connection, so it sits nicely on a counter beside your coffee station without needing special wiring. Two-year parts and labour warranty.
