Why this contact grill earns its place
The Roller Grill Premium VC DL FE148 is a double ribbed contact grill from Roller Grill’s Vitro Ceramic line. It uses an infrared heating system designed to bring energy efficient cooking to the kitchen, and the manufacturer says it reaches 230°C in 90 seconds while halving the overall power.
The smooth glass plates are built for direct heat transfer to the food, which helps cooking move quickly. Roller Grill also says the vitro-ceramic technology reduces smoke and smell, and the unit is styled for front-of-house use.
With an external size of 260 x 780 x 600 mm, this is a compact counter unit with a broad grilling surface. The stainless steel and glass construction, silver finish and 20 kg gross weight give it the look and feel of a fitted professional machine without unnecessary bulk.
