Why this contact grill earns its place
The Lynx 400 is built around a straightforward idea: good contact pressure and balanced heat from both plates gets your product perfect fast. The upper plate runs 1kW, the lower 1.25kW—giving you real control over browning without the risk of hot spots or sticking. That asymmetric loading matters when you're cooking mixed items—stiffer bread needs more from the lower plate, delicate fish less.
At 276mm wide, it sits happy on most counters, but the footprint packs genuine utility. The stainless steel and aluminium build is robust enough for lunch service rhythm, and at 23.1kg it's easy to move if your station layout changes. Temperature range tops out at 260°C, plenty for a proper crust on anything you'd grill.
You're not flipping. That's the whole point. One contact, both sides done, and onto the plate. No wasted time fiddling, no inconsistent results. For busy services—café rush, lunchtime sandwich trade, pubs doing food—that speed and repeatability is real money.
