Why this toaster earns its place
The Dualit CD376 is a black 4-slice sandwich toaster built for making sandwiches efficiently on a busy counter. Its stainless steel and aluminium construction and 220 x 460 x 210 mm footprint give it the presence of a serious trade appliance without being oversized for the job.
It is designed with wide 28 mm slots for toasting sandwiches using a Dualit sandwich cage, and it can also accommodate bread, buns and teacakes. The individual toasting controls for each slot mean you can use only the slots required, which keeps the appliance more energy efficient during quieter periods.
The toaster includes a mechanical timer to control toasting and a manually operated ejector lever to keep items warm until needed. That gives the operator more control over browning and service timing than a simple fixed toaster.
