Why this toaster earns its place
Designed to withstand the rigours of regular use within a commercial kitchen, this Dualit toaster combines a Utility Cream finish with stainless steel and aluminium construction. It measures 220 x 360 x 210 mm and weighs 4.2 kg, so it brings a four-slice format to the counter without taking over the workspace.
The Vario setup is all about control. The 28 mm slots are wide enough for thick bread, teacakes and sandwiches when used with a Dualit sandwich cage, and the mechanical timer lets the operator set toast exactly as required. A selector switch heats only the slots needed, which helps save energy in quieter periods and supports consecutive toasting.
Practical handling is built in as well. The manually operated ejector lever keeps items warm until they are needed, while the high-lift mechanism makes smaller items easier and safer to remove. Rated at 230V with a 2200 W input, this model is designed for a plug connection and carries a 1-year parts and labour warranty.
