Why this potato peeler machine earns its place
The Metcalfe NA15 CM835-NIK is aimed at kitchens that want a reliable way to peel potatoes and root vegetables with minimal effort. It is designed to produce perfectly peeled produce quickly, using a round chamber that spins the potatoes as the skins are removed.
Metcalfe constructs the range from food-grade, non-corrosive aluminium alloy castings, with the spindle housing and chute cast integrally to reduce joints and possible leakage. The patented serrated chamber design helps reduce potato loss, and the double-sided rotor plate gives you fine-grained abrasive on one side for new potatoes and coarse-grained abrasive on the other for regular potatoes.
This version is the machine without the installation kit. It still runs on 230V with a 250 W rated input, weighs 30 kg and measures 446 x 354 x 576 mm, while the V-belt transmission is intended to keep operation quieter.
