Why this food processor earns its place
Speed is what buys you time in a kitchen. The Sammic CKE-8 combines the functions of a food cutter and a mixer in one stainless-steel box, which means you stop shuttling ingredients between machines and start working faster. The 8-litre bowl is proper metal, not plastic—it takes the impact of ice, frozen fruit, dry spices and thick pastes without cracking or staining. Load it in seconds, hit the timer, and the motor does the rest.
The machine ships with four blades: a serrated cutting blade for rough chopping, a flat blade for fine mincing, a perforated blade for grinding (think forcemeat and spreads), and a bowl scraper that pushes ingredients toward the blades without you opening the lid. The motor has 10 speed settings, so you can go from pulse-chop (for texture) to full-power puree (for smooth soups, sauces, nut butters) without changing equipment. The timer means you can walk away—set it for two minutes, and when the bell rings, your purée is done.
The lid has an ingredient chute built in, so you can feed things in while it's running. That's professional: you don't stop the machine to add garlic or stock mid-mix. The whole unit is 24 kg, compact enough to sit on a bench without dominating it, yet heavy enough that it doesn't walk around when the motor's working hard. Two-year on-site parts-and-labour warranty means if the motor or motor seal ever fails, an engineer comes to you.
