Why this product earns its place
This is a two-stage cooker: it boils and cooks raw rice, then switches to a keep-warm mode that holds the cooked rice at safe serving temperature. Load raw rice and water, close the lid, and the Chefmaster cooks to tender automatically. Once done, it stays in keep-warm mode — holding temperature without further cooking — for up to 12 hours. The 5.4 litre capacity yields up to 14 litres of cooked rice, which is enough for a small restaurant's lunch service or a larger café's mid-morning covers.
The non-stick inner bowl lifts out for washing, so you can dump cooked rice directly into a clean bowl without scrubbing starch on. It comes with a measuring cup and spatula, both calibrated to the pot's proportions. The Cook and Hold cycle is what makes this cooker, not warmer: you load it in the morning and it handles the work.
