Why this salamander grill earns its place
The Superchef is designed for open kitchens and high-volume pass work. Six clip-in quartz infrared elements—three upper, three lower—create even, intense heat perfect for finishing pizzas, browning toasted sandwiches, and gratinating dishes. Unlike ceramic or traditional heating elements, quartz infrared radiates heat directly and recovers instantly between loads; you're not waiting for coils to reheat. The element design gives off a warm, attractive amber glow—a detail if your grill is visible to diners.
The capacity is cleverly built for flexibility: you can run one 9-inch pizza on the 552 mm-deep cooking surface, or fit two 7-inch pizzas side by side. For toasted sandwiches, you're looking at 96 per hour on a continuous pass. The fully automatic timer removes guesswork—set it, and heat cuts when time's up, protecting product from overcooking and giving your staff a clear signal. Upper and lower elements fire independently, so you can use bottom heat alone for warming or reheating, or both elements for rapid browning.
The 230V 3000W plug connection means most kitchens can install this without rewiring. It's compact—325 mm tall, 552 mm wide, and just 302 mm deep—so it sits neatly on a pass shelf or integrated into a cook-line. The silver finish is easy to wipe clean, and the infrared quartz elements are user-replaceable, so when an element eventually needs retiring (after hundreds of service hours), you swap rather than replace the whole grill.
