Why this pasta boiler earns its place
The Hatco Heatmax is built for kitchens that cook serious quantities of pasta. With six baskets, you can cook six separate batches or items simultaneously — perfect for managing different pasta shapes, cooking times, or portion sizes during a busy service. The programmable digital panel lets you save up to three different cooking programmes, so your team can dial in perfect pasta — or gnocchi, or dumplings — every time with a single button press.
The real work happens in the heating. Two high-performance heating elements deliver even, efficient heat throughout the well, maintaining temperature consistently across every batch. The temperature range of 45 to 95°C covers everything from gentle holding temperatures (for pasta that's already cooked but needs keeping warm) right up to rapid boiling for fresh pasta. Continuous temperature monitoring maximises food safety — the unit constantly tracks and maintains your set temperature, which is crucial when you're cooking large volumes.
What sets it apart is the attention to efficiency. The advanced insulated design retains heat longer, which means lower energy costs and faster recovery between batches. There's also a low-power mode for periods when you need the unit running but aren't cooking at full capacity. At just 11 kg and 368 mm wide, it's compact enough for a tight pass, yet robust enough for heavy daily use. Two-year parts and labour warranty comes as standard.
