Why this countertop chargrill earns its place
The Synergy Grill Gas Chargrill with Garnish Rail and Slow Cook Shelf ST1300 FD493 is a stainless steel, silver-finished countertop chargrill from Synergy Grill. It has a substantial 1304 mm width, a 835 mm depth and a 575 mm height, so it is clearly built for a serious service station rather than a lightweight back-up unit.
Synergy Grill's own description focuses on the cooking system. It says the grill uses a patented gas burner system and a natural ceramic heat bed, with high heat that atomises fat instead of letting it collect in a tray. The benefit described is simpler cleaning, less fatty waste to dispose of and food that stays juicy during cooking.
The same manufacturer text says the grill prepares food faster at less than half the energy costs and gives an intense BBQ flavour. It also says water vapour released during cooking is absorbed back into the food, which is part of how the grill is presented as producing a greater yield.
