Why this griddle earns its place
The Parry PGF1000G is not a small griddle. At 1020mm across, you're looking at a serious piece of equipment designed to handle the volume. LPG fuel means no electric circuit sizing and no installation delay—connect a gas bottle, set it level, and you're cooking. The flat cooking surface is 470mm front to back, giving you depth enough to work the product and move it around during cooking without crowding.
A 1020mm surface running at 9300W thermal output means you can work multiple product types at speed. Burgers in the back half while you're breaking up scrambled eggs in the front, pancakes across the middle, all without waiting. The unit sits just 200mm high—a worktop or portable stand height—so it doesn't dominate the kitchen visually, but the cooking area dominates output.
Build is stainless steel, built to take daily cleaning without corrosion. It's designed for portability too; at 35.5 kg, it's mobile if you need to move it (though you'll want gas valves handled properly). The warranty is two years parts and labour, standard across the Parry range, though it notes exclusions for mobile catering units, which makes sense given the portability design.
