Why this griddle earns its place
The DM542-P is the propane gas version of Lincat's Opus 800 griddle, made for kitchens that want the same heavy-duty performance in a smaller 600 mm footprint. It measures 532 x 600 x 800 mm, weighs 79.5 kg and is built from stainless steel in a silver finish.
With a 15.5 kW input and a temperature range of +90 to +300 °C, it has the range to cover busy service without feeling overbuilt for tighter counters or service lines. The independently controlled heating zones let you run heat where it is needed, while the rest of the plate can be held back.
The removable fat collection drawer makes cleaning easier at the end of a shift, and the manufacturer describes the griddle as designed to continually produce high output and consistent results. That makes it a practical choice when you want a serious griddle but do not need the largest model in the range.
