Product description

The Imperial ITG-24 LPG two burner griddle is the perfect solution for unleashing your kitchen’s full potential. Engineered for high-demand professional areas, its two powerful 9kW burners work in harmony with a highly polished 25mm thick steel plate, ensuring exceptional heat retention and rapid temperature recovery. This combination allows you to consistently produce perfectly cooked food, even during the busiest service periods.

Designed with the everyday use in mind, aeration baffles between the burners guarantee an even spread of heat across the entire 610mm cooking surface, eliminating hot spots and maximising output. Cleaning is made simple thanks to a generous 102mm wide grease gutter and a large 3.8Ltr grease tray, which cleverly features a weep hole to indicate when it requires emptying. With a continuous pilot for instant ignition, the Imperial ITG-24 griddle is designed to always be ready for the next busy service.

THE WORKING VIEW

Why this griddle earns its place

Built for flat-top frying: two powerful 9kW burners sit under a 25mm thick polished steel plate that holds heat like nothing else. The 610mm cooking surface stays even across its whole face — aeration baffles between the burners kill hot spots and dead zones, so bacon doesn't burn whilst eggs stay runny, and every sausage cooks the same colour. Temperature recovery is instant; fire up in the morning, feed it breakfast covers without watching it fade.

Cleaning is real work, but this oven cuts it short. A 102mm wide grease gutter runs the length of the plate and drops into a 3.8Ltr tray that lives under the griddle. The tray has a weep hole so you know when it's full — pull it out, empty it, done. All stainless steel means no rusting or crazing in corners.

At 356mm high, 610mm wide and 822mm deep, it fits a normal line — not crammed, not sprawling. 136kg of griddle, built to work. Continuous pilot ignition gets you ready for service instantly; no faffing with manual lights.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Questions, answered straight

610mm wide cooking surface — that's room for six sausages, a line of bacon, and a load of toasted sandwiches, all at once, with no interference. The 25mm steel plate distributes heat so evenly you don't get crowding issues.

The baffles sit between the burners and create a smooth heat spread across the whole plate. Without them, you'd get a hot zone directly over each burner and a cooler zone in the middle. This griddle doesn't — it's consistently hot corner to corner.

A weep hole at the bottom of the 3.8Ltr tray shows when it's full. You'll literally see fat starting to weep out. Time to pull the tray, empty it, and slide it back in.

LPG means liquefied petroleum gas in bottled form — the same as a garden BBQ or a caravan. Disconnect the bottle from wherever it lives, connect to the griddle's inlet via the appropriate regulator, and you're cooking. For catering events and mobile work, this is standard. If you want a permanent gas line instead, talk to your gas engineer about a conversion.

The 25mm steel plate is a heat battery — you can drop the burners to a holding temperature and the plate stays surprisingly consistent. Turn them off and it'll drop faster, but for a busy breakfast service you're not killing and restarting heat much; it's usually throttle up or throttle down.
