Why this griddle earns its place
The dual-zone electric griddle is a breakthrough for kitchens juggling breakfast and lunch service together. Two independently controlled zones mean you can maintain eggs and bacon hot on one half while searing steaks or vegetables on the other. Each zone runs from +50 to +300°C via simple dial controls, so you're never locked into one temperature — keep warm, cook aggressively, or drop power on one side during quieter hours to save energy.
The cooking surface is built for longevity and performance. Dual 10mm thick mild steel plates distribute heat evenly across the entire 600mm × 600mm surface, minimising hot spots and ensuring consistent results. The 4.5kW element delivers fast heat-up and excellent recovery between services, critical when you're plating covers in rapid succession. Excess fat drains efficiently into a 1-litre collection drawer, preventing grease buildup on the surface and keeping cleanup fast.
Structurally, the griddle is a tank. Fully welded stainless steel construction eliminates dirt traps, making it both durable and genuinely easy to clean. Side and rear splash guards contain spills and grease, protecting surrounding surfaces — essential in a busy line. Part of the Buffalo 600 Series, it integrates seamlessly with other 600 Series units, helping you build a cohesive, efficient cook line regardless of kitchen size.
