Why this hot plate earns its place
The Sirman IH BM brings energy efficiency to front-of-house food holding. Built on induction technology, it heats only the pan itself—not the plate or the air around it—so it's kind to both your utility bills and your kitchen environment. The tempered glass surface gives you visibility of what's warming underneath, and it's durable enough to withstand the rigours of a busy pass.
At 460 mm wide and 61 mm tall, it occupies less counter real estate than a traditional bain marie while delivering the same job: keeping trays, dishes and sauces at the temperature your service demands. The generous 455 × 310 mm surface area fits most standard trays and part-size gastronorm pans. Water resistance means accidental spills—stock splashes, coffee drips—won't short it out or cause downtime.
The digital controls are intuitive; you set the holding temperature once and the induction element maintains it automatically throughout service. Because it only draws 200 W, it'll run happily on any standard kitchen circuit without triggering circuit limitations. And because there's no heating element exposed to the elements, cleaning is fast and safe—just wipe the glass top and you're done.
